A look back at Kate and Russ’ Wedding day from Dave McIntosh Photographics.
Kate and Russ knew each other growing up but it wasn’t until Russ came home from the Marines his dad reintroduced him up with Kate at a church event. During COVID Kate and Russ had an intimate wedding but they knew they wanted to celebrate with everyone so they pushed their church ceremony and reception back a year to 2021. I worked with Kate and Russ during their engagement photos and small wedding so I knew them pretty well and looked forward to their regular wedding. On their wedding day they had their preparations at the beautiful Stone Ridge Hollow then their ceremony at their parish, St Joseph’s Church in Cockeysville MD. The reception was at Stone Ridge Hollow. It was a beautiful day and the schedule went according to the way Kate planned it. I think the highlight of the day for me was the sunset photos since it was such a gorgeous setting. I also enjoyed how much fun Russ had with his groomsmen. The groomsmen carved swords to commemorate the event. We had a great time taking the fun wedding party photos while the guests enjoyed their cocktails outdoors on the patio.
