A look back at the wedding day of Jeannette & Spencer St James from Dave McIntosh Photographics, Baltimore wedding photography and videography.
Jeannette was referred to me by another couple whose wedding I photographed, Matt and Brian. Jeannette and Spencer selected Crown Rose Estate in Knoxville, Maryland, for preparations and their reception. I had not previously photographed at Crown Rose Estate, so Jeannette, Spencer, and I met at the venue a week prior to the wedding. We visited several areas for photos and decided the first look would be in the Rose Garden. Jeannette and I worked closely to create a timeline for photography for the day that was realistic. Jeannette created a Pinterest board of several photo ideas she liked and shared it with me. Jeannette’s information provided what I need to create a game plan for the day.
Wedding day was a glorious sunny day. Pete was my second shooter. We met and got rolling about 9 am. Hopefully, you are enjoying the story of their day in photos. I am showing more photos than usual in a gallery, so you get a good feel for the entire day both candid and posed shots.
After the first look in the Rose Garden and toast with the wedding party, everyone headed out to St. James, the Greater Catholic Church in Charlestown for the ceremony. Jeannette’s father, Dave, was a limo driver to get everyone to and from the church. After the ceremony, we took group photos at the altar and outside the church. We then headed back to Crown Rose Estate. We visited an overlook with amazing views of the valley and the Potomac river. We returned to Crown Rose Estate to start the party. Everyone was having fun and enjoying the celebration. Pete and I got lots of photos of the celebration with family and friends. Jeannette and Spencer have over 1200 photos to remember their wedding day.
