A look at the wedding day for Darian & Gabe at the Woodholme Country Club from Dave McIntosh Photographics, Baltimore wedding photography and videography.
Darian and Gabe met in Tel Aviv, Israel. Gabe attended University of Pittsburgh with Darian’s oldest sister- and brother-in-law, befriended many people from Darian’s high school and went on to play soccer with Darian’s brother. But they never met until Tel Aviv. “With encouragement from both friends and family, we set off on a date in Tel Aviv and have never looked back.”
Darian grew up in the Baltimore area and attending Beth Tfiloh. I asked Gabe to comment on the wedding plans and day. Having our wedding at Woodholme was a natural fit. Leading up to the wedding, we had been concerned about being able to find those uniquely intimate moments between a bride and groom during a wedding day filled with many events, family and friends. But those fears were never realized, as we were able to have to find moments like our special first look where it felt as if nobody was near, and it was just us in the world.
We were able to utilize the nature and greenery found at Woodholme to showcase our special day. Our ceremony was outside on the grass (where no shoes were required) and our party was outside in a tent, allowing for an elegant affair with laid back vibes. The favorite part of our wedding day was being surrounded by family and friends that had traveled from inside the US and from all over the world (Israel, Mexico, Spain, Denmark and Norway) to celebrate with us and make our day so special.
As we both finish up our last courses in graduate school, we will be moving to Atlanta to begin the next chapter of our life together. We look forward to the challenges and the joys that a new city with new experiences will bring.
