A look back at the wedding day for Elizabeth & Tom from Dave McIntosh Photographics, Baltimore wedding photography and videography.
I was happy when Elizabeth and Tom selected me to photograph their wedding because I really enjoy working at the Engineers Club. Their preparations and reception were at the Engineers Club and their ceremony was at nearby Saint Ignatius Church. The Engineers Club doesn’t sound very exciting, but it is also known as Jacob Garrett Mansion. The mansion has a wide variety of rooms inside to photograph in and a small but wonderful park right outside the front door. Elizabeth and Tom were had a first look so we could get most of the photos completed before the ceremony so they could enjoy the reception.
The timeline we created together worked great, and we finished the preparation, first look, and group photos right on schedule. That would be my theme for the day – everything went according to plan. Elizabeth and Tom planned wonderful music and Asha, the venue coordinator, had everything in order for the cocktail hour and reception. For music, they had a string quartet for the ceremony and a guitarist and saxophone player for the cocktail hour and a full band at the reception.
They had a classic black and white theme that turned colorful after the ceremony. Elizabeth and Tom enjoyed cocktail hour and really cut loose during the reception. Here are some of the photos from their gorgeous album. I hope it gives you a feel for the day. (click on a photo to enlarge it)
