United with Love features Emily & Ryan’s Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore Wedding & Reception

Emily and Ryan planned an outdoor terrace wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore Their wedding day arrived along with record rainfall. Not to worry, everything worked out fine, albeit a little more indoors than planned. The Ceremony was moved from the terrace to indoors. The staff and service at the Four Seasons Baltimore is amazing, and they kept us up to date with when we could use the master staircase for our photos. I usually start the day getting some photos of the wedding details. The rings, invitation, dress, shoes, and accessories. As I am taking those photos, Emily is getting ready, and she was feeling excited about the day.
White I am with the ladies my second photographer AJ captured the guys celebrating as they prepared. Ryan usually has a smile and he was all smiles anticipating a great day with Emily.
Once Emily got photos with the bridesmaids and moms then her nieces we took a few other fun photos. Then it was time to get into the dress. The large modern windows at the Four Seasons Baltimore make a great backdrop, on this overcast day the sunlight softly hugs Emily.
We moved the first look indoors to the hallway outside the ballrooms. The window light was soft and the overhead lighting not too harsh. This sequence captures the fun. After they shared a moment we visited a few planned spaces at the Four Seasons for photos of Emily & Ryan. Later we added the wedding party for group photos before the ceremony.
The ceremony was sealed with a kiss then Emily & Ryan took a few more photos downstairs as they relaxed together. I took the first photo below and AJ took the second. Two photos of the same scene that look completely different. A good example of a second photographer getting a different angle.
Then on to the reception. The Four Seasons Baltimore converted the Cobalt room from ceremony to reception. The room ambiance coupled with the decor created an elegant venue.
Emily & Ryan are ice cream fans so they had a ice cream cake rather than a traditional cake. How fun – We all scream for ice cream.
It FINALLY stopped raining during the reception. We sneaked outside onto the terrace for a quick photo. At the end of the reception, Emily & Ryan still looked good, so we walked downstairs to the nearby harbor and took a few photos next to the water. I used the last photo for the cover of their album.
