Emily and Trevor were married near the water at Kent Island Resort on Kent Island Maryland in a beautiful summer ceremony. They booked 1 photographer for 8 hours coverage. We started with some very final preparations of both of them. They did not do a first look but we took separate family photos before the ceremony. You can see an aerial view of the beautiful ceremony location in the second photo below. This is my first time photographing at Kent Island resort. Kent Island Resort has two completely separate wedding and reception locations both gorgeous with plenty of space between them. The ceremony was short but very beautiful then we took combined family and extended family photos. After the family photos while everyone else was at cocktail hour I spent the next 20 minutes with Emily and Trevor taking couples photos on the pier and a couple other locations. We had enough time left they got to enjoy part of the cocktail hour with their friends and family. The reception was in the large tent which when you first enter featured personalized wedding margarita shot glasses with each persons name and table number. The staff the Kent Island Resort and District DJs did a great job keeping the party flowing and keeping on schedule. The night ended with a last dance then a sparkler send off. I delivered just over 1000 photos to Emily & Trevor later that week.
