Lauren & Ralph | Turf Valley Resort

A look at the wedding day for Lauren & Ralph from Dave McIntosh Photographics, Baltimore wedding photography and videography.

I met Lauren and her mother at a wedding show and booked her and Ralph for an engagement session and wedding photography. We had a wonderful time together exploring the Baltimore Harbor taking the engagement photos, so I looked forward to their wedding. The Wedding preparations, ceremony and reception were held at Turf Valley Resort, which is not far from their home in Ellicott City.

Lauren had preparations in the bridal suite, which is an expansive two-room suite at the Resort. It provided us several opportunities for photos, so we took advantage of it. Lauren and Ralph wanted their first look to be in the garden at the alter so we photographed them with the groomsmen and bridesmaids separately before the ceremony. The ceremony and reception were an elegant black-tie affair with a simple black and white color palette for the attire and flowers with royal purple backdrop at the reception. My second photographer, Jon, and I enjoyed documenting the energy and excitement of the day. I hope you enjoyed this overview!
