After your wedding your videos will bring to life the beautiful memories of the grandiose day. In this article, you will find many shots you want in your wedding video from Dave McIntosh Photographics, Baltimore wedding photography and videography.
The videographer of your wedding day plays an immense role in capturing and preserving the very special first and only moments together with your partner. After the big event has finished, the videos are a great way to re-experience the feelings again and again. Things happen very quickly on your wedding day.
You might believe that hiring a wedding videographer means that all work is done. However, to preserve the uniqueness of your wedding day, we will have a Zoom call to review the events of the day that you’d like us to capture. We will capture all the obvious moments but it is helpful to review the plans so we know where to be and when and what to look for that might not be quite so obvious.
We’d like to present you with some example video shots you will not want to miss.
The Opening of the Morning Presents
You and your significant other might have prepared gifts for each other meant to be opened before the big event starts. Don’t forget to tell your videographer about these to record the grand opening of the surprises.
Cheers! Champagne Glasses Clink
May your big day begin and flow as a newly open bottle of champagne does. Pour in the glasses, and say cheers to the camera.
Preparing the Bride
No comparison can be made to the video showing how the bride is getting makeup and hair prepared for her big day.
The Putting of Some Make-up–Bridesmaids Edition
Don’t miss the chance to capture the excitement of your bridesmaids as they also get ready for the glamorous day and put on some magic on their faces.
Jewelry Time
Elegance is streaming out of the Beauty even just the way she is. But what is a bride without the final touch of a diamond?
Putting on the Dress
That’s definitely a vital moment along with getting a couple angles of the special people helping you get dressed.
The Shoes
Make sure not to disregard the shoes, as they are just as precious as the dress itself.
Final Touch
What is a Beauty without a crown? Regardless of whether you are wearing a tiara, a flower crown, or a veil don’t allow your videographer to skip the moment of putting it on.
Capture the Complete Picture
We know weddings can be quite emotional and full of surprises. That is why you would probably like to have a video showing the final perfect look, the finished art.
Pre-final Walk
We now have the perfect beauty, ready to take her last walk down the aisle. We all adore seeing the bride’s walk towards her ceremony.
Bride’s Bouquet
That’s even earlier–don’t miss the chance to capture the beauty of your flowers before they disappear into thin air.
Here I Come–Yours, Flower Girl
Shots of both the flower girl getting ready and interacting with you are always very cute.
Father–Daughter First Look
This can be very simple but a very special part of the day showing the bond between father-daughter.
The preparation of the groom
Now that we have spent enough time on the Beauty, let’s give the Beast the attention he deserves and see his transition into a handsome Prince.
Groom’s Garments
close video shots of the groom’s clothes? Button holes, tie, bow tie we will capture it all
Putting on his Jacket
a hero shot of the best man helping the groom the dressed, fixing his tie and putting on his jacket always looks great hopefully we can get some nice light.
Bride / Groom First look
If you are having a first look where you see each other before the ceremony and take some photos we definitely want to capture this special moment where you share your first glimpse of each other.
The Fairytale Setting
You have prepared the perfect venue for your wedding ceremony. We’d like to see it before it gets crowded and show some of the personal touches you have for the ceremony.
The Excited Waiting
Everyone is waiting to see the bride walk down the aisle, but most of all, the groom standing at the altar is waiting to lay eyes on his bride as she appears. This nervous excitement adds to the drama.
The Final Walk and the Passing On
The impatience, the sensation of being stuck in time, the first look, the first impression of future-to-be spouses… and, of course, the awe of all the guests at the look of this indescribable picture.
The Promises
Exchanging rings as a symbol of a perpetual bond, the sacred words, the vows of fidelity and the unutterably cherished first kiss. Personalized vows add a nice touch. They can be used as a voice over in the highlight video.
The First Walk Together
You just married and we will capture your first walk as a married couple. We will catch your first steps together into your happily ever after tale.
Couples Photos
Usually after the ceremony ( or before if you have a first look ) you will get some great photos together. This is a great time for us to capture some nice video of the two of you together at a couple beautiful locations at the venue.
The Newly Formed Twosome
It’s all about you two now. The first dance, the following kisses, the embraces, the holding of hands, the looks, the laughs, the tears. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to re-watch and enliven those unforgettable memories again and again?
The Reception Setting
Whilst the newly formed couple is busy enjoying each other’s appearances, tell your wedding videographer to take some time to go over to the place of your reception and celebration. May he not miss out on any details–the decorations, the tables, the napkins, the flowers, every feature.
The Celebration
Glasses clinking, congratulations exchange, hugs with old and new friends and relatives, parents, grandparents, more tears, but also more smiles and thousands of unforgettable memories. We will capture it all in a video so that you never lose the feeling.
The Cake
Before the cakes ends in pieces we get a shot of the beautiful art itself. The two of you together cutting the first slice, the foam on the face of your spouse, the gentle kiss with which you remove the cake foam we will capture the moment.
The Speeches
There comes the time for the special speeches in front of the guests. We will video of those unforgettable genuine emotions and words and the effect they have on both the spouses and the guests, as well. If there are any great sound bites we will use them in a voice over for the highlight video.
Bye, bye, Bouquet
If you are doing a bouquet toss a shot of the bride tossing her flowers and the lucky girl to grabs it is fun
May the Party Begin
After the first dance with the spouse, more dances are to follow–the one of the groom with the mother and the other–of the bride with her father. Usually there is some genuine emotion here we like to capture and feature.
The Perfect Ending.
A confetti or sparkler send off this creates the perfect ending to your video. If you are not having a special send off then the last dance and energy it brings is a nice way to wrap up the video.
