Sophia & Toyin’s Wedding | St. Regis Hotel Washington DC | Photo & Video

December 16, 2023

A look at Sophia & Toyin’s wedding day from Dave McIntosh Photographics.

Sophia & Toyin had a May wedding after a year’s delay due to Covid. We had a three-person team handling photography and videography coverage (2 photographers, 1 videographer) The entire event was at the gorgeous St. Regis Hotel. For the first look and wedding party photos, we went to the courtyard area. What you will notice most about the photos is the easygoing smile on both Toyin and Sophia. They both truly enjoyed the day. We planned the schedule in advance to allow plenty or time for the wedding party and couples photos, then time for them to relax before the ceremony. The ceremony was an intimate affair with 100 guests. During the cocktail hour, we took a few family photos, then the couple enjoyed themselves. The reception was a party with lots of dancing and dollars flying everywhere. Sophia and Toyin did a wardrobe change about 2/3 the way through the reception.

Watch the highlight video and check out the photos for a nice overview of Sophia and Toyin’s sophisticated wedding day! The photos are those Sophia selected for her album.
